In response to your questions about what a stay at The Huffman House includes, we created a page just to answer you. 

 

    The First Floor Suite at The Huffman House is a collection of 5 rooms and a bathroom, and includes everything you would need for your stay other than food. This suite contains a bedroom, sitting room, utility room, kitchen, and living room, but has the potential to be used for 3 bedrooms.

    The spacious yard is perfect for a picnic or a walk and surrounds The Huffman House on all sides; the yard is large enough that one couple had their wedding in the front yard. You can get a great view of the yard from the partial wrap-around front porch or from the swing on the smaller back porch.

     The Huffman House utilizes a modern forced-air/air-conditioning unit that will heat and cool the whole house to a comfortable level. The bathroom has a standard shower/bathtub.

   The Bedroom includes a decorative fireplace, a large walkin closet, and a full-size iron-frame bed. All bedding is included and can be washed as part of the optional weekly housekeeping service.

 

   The Kitchen will more than meet your needs, with large counterspace to work on and a wood table that seats four, finding a place for everyone should be no problem.

   For the cook of the family we have everything they could need also: a 4-burner gas range/stove, refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee pot, and a food pantry. We have supplied you with everything you need for cooking, baking, and even eating.

 

 

 

   The Living Room also has a decorative fireplace and is furnished, and includes a television, DVD player, and a radio. Of the two windows, the front window gives the best view of the front yard of The Huffman House.

 

   The Sitting Room has a futon inside and can be used for a second bedroom if needed, or can be left as it is and used for a sitting or reading area with a great view of the back yard and hilltop setting. There is an antique television set on display, but is not operational.

 

   The Utility Room has a washer and dryer hooked up and ready for use and also has a utility sink. This room is large enough that it could be used for an additional bedroom. No bed is provided for this room, but air mattresses are availible for use on request.
